4 Days Lake Kivu Boating with Resorts Stopovers

This is a very relaxing and age friendly 3 days tour by boat from Rubavu to Kirambo. We will travel with a traditional 8-persons boat where we go all along the Kivu Lake enjoying an inland of a beautiful view including magnificent views of a mixture of mountaineering landscapes, rolling hills, valleys, coffee and banana plantations, etc. We also have access to several eye-catching islands located and separated at small distances all along the Kivu Lake.  The 4^th day, we will return by car or bus to Rubavu. Travel time to Rubavu is around 4 hours. 

We will visit the different places and have sightseeing for interesting sites. Safety is guaranteed and a professional guide is permanently available and will tell stories on Lake Kivu and its flora and fauna, Islands, lake activities from Rubavu to Kirambo.

Life-vests for everybody will be available as well. Between meals, snacks including Rwanda coffee and tea (with an availability of traditionally prepared ones) will be available.

Other experiences like Traditional Coffee Preparation and Tasting, Night fishing, Cow Swimming, Women Sailing Competition, etc will also be offered to our clients all along the boating travel.

• Day 1: Boat tour from Rubavu to Kinunu resort : dinner + overnight stay in a beach hotel

• Kinunu Stop-over activities (Night Fishing)
• Day 2: Boat tour from Kinunu to Karongi resort : dinner + overnight stay in a guesthouse
• Women sailing competition relax
• Karongi stop-over activity (Cow Swimming)
• Day 3: Boat tour from Karongi to Kirambo : dinner + overnight stay in a resort (Kumbya  Peninsula resort).
• Day 4: Return by car or bus directly from Kumbya (Kirambo) to Rubavu. Duration: 5 hours including lunch stop.

Company Policy

1. Senior Citizens (65 and plus) are entitled to have 10 % Discount of the package. This is not valid for our promo rates.
2. Package is non-refundable but re-bookable.
3. All rates are subject to change with prior notice and after discussions.

Conclusion

After each Tour visitors can spend some relaxing time for 1 or more days in a hotel in Rubavu. For this we can arrange that for the following prices (These stays are not included in the Package Deals).

Stay in a 2 star Hotel:                                 RWF  60,000.- per room B&B
